Following the end of the Dominion War, Starfleet struggles to reestablish their exploration and peacekeeping missions, including Sector 19. With so many senior officers lost during the war, the new generation of Starfleet officers, forged in war, and tested time and again take up the cause. The 7th Fleet based out of the recently reclaimed Starbase 255 begin to establish order and expand the horizons of knowledge again.
