[edit] Background
Conceived in 1999, Beast Hunters was intended as a new story set in the beast machines universe. The goal was to create a stop-motion animated feature using techniques developed on a previous project.
In addition to the primary film, there were to be several Public Service Announcements featuring the characters of BH. One was to feature Striker complaining of a prostitute stealing his wallet, and another with Hades extolling the virtues of hard working hookers everywhere.
Due to various reasons, the project never moved beyond some initial scripts, an overall plot outline and a slim few voice recording sessions. The only true remaining aspect of the story that has carried forward are the mannerisms and catch phrases of several of the characters, which remain a part of HMP's regular discourse.
